PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for approval of an amendment to the
Planned Unit Development in the B-3 Planned Business Center District and approval of a
Preliminary Plan with the following variations: ZONING ORDINANCE - Section 14.44.040.D.3.
and D.5. (to allow a building setback of 28 feet instead of 50 feet and a transitional buffer yard of
less than 12 feet from the west property line adjoining the Kingswood United Methodist Church,
zoned in the R-1 District.)
The petitioner proposes to construct a funeral home facility, including office and garage areas,
wth a total building area of approximately 42,817 square feet.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 3.8 acres at
the southwest corner of Dundee Road and Golfview Terrace m the Covington Office Plaza.
