AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF 985 BUFFALO GROVE ROAD AND FROM THE BUFFALO
GROVE PARK DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the 111finois Constitution
of 1970; and,
WH!EREAS', the Village of Buffalo Grove is agreeable to accept the parcel of land at 985 Buffalo
Grove Road (PIN No. 03-09-101-033-0000), a of Part of the North Y2 of the Northeast Y.of the Northwest
Y4 of Section 9,Township 42 North, Range 11, East of Third Principal Meridian, according to the ALTA/NSPS
Land Title Survey prepared by Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc. dated April 12, 2022, in Cook County,
Illinois("the Property"), from the Buffalo Grove Park District;
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is agreeable to accept an easement along the north
property line of 951 Buffalo Grove Road (PIN No.013-09-101-029-0000) per the enclosed plat of easement
from the Buffailo,Grove Park District,-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, as folllows:
Section 1: That it is necessary and appropriate to accept the Property from the Buffalo Grove Park
District and said conveyance is hereby approved.
Section 2. The Village Manager is authorized and directed to execute all necessary documents to
effectuate the conveyance.
Section 3: If any section, paragraph, clause,or provision of this Ordinance shall be held invalid, the
invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage a,nd approval
and shall not be codified.
