2021-08-16 - Ordinance 2021-052 - APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF OUTLOT C IN THE PRAIRIE GROVE SUBDIVISIONORDINANCE NO.2021-52 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF OUTLOT C IN THE PRAIRIE GROVE SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is agreeable to convey Outlot C in the Prairie Grove Subdivision, being a subdivision of Part of the East Y2 of the Southwest % of Section 21, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat of said Prairie Grove thereof recorded January 9, 1995 as Document 3633248, in Lake County, Illinois, to the Buffalo Grove Park District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That it is necessary to convey the property to the Buffalo Grove Park District for use at Prairie Grove Park. Section 2: The Village Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Quit Claim Deed. A copy of said Deed is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3: If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Ordinance shall be held invalid, the invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance. Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and shall not be codified.
