AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF OUTLOT E IN THE LINK CROSSING SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution
of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is agreeable to convey Outlot E in the Link Crossing
Subdivision, being a subdivision of Part of the Southwest % of Section 21, Township 43 North, Range 11,
East of Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat of said Link Crossing thereof recorded July 25, 2019
as Document 7579220, in Lake County, Illinois ("the Property"), to the Buffalo Grove Park District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That it is necessary and appropriate to convey the Property to the Buffalo Grove Park
District and said conveyance is hereby approved.
Section 2: The Village Manager is authorized and directed to execute all necessary documents to
effectuate the conveyance.
Section 3: If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Ordinance shall be held invalid, the
invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval
and shall not be codified.

5. Notice: Please be aware that due to the conflict between federal and state laws concerning the
cultivation, distribution, manufacture or sale of marijuana, the Company is not able to close or
insure any transaction involving Land that is associated with these activities.
6. The "Good Funds" section of the Title Insurance Act (215 ILCS 155/26) is effective January 1,
2010. This Act places limitations upon our ability to accept certain types of deposits into escrow.
Please contact your local Title office regarding the application of this new law to your transaction.
7. Effective June 1, 2009, pursuant to Public Act 95-988, satisfactory evidence of identification must
be presented for the notarization of any and all documents notarized by an Illinois notary public.
