Jean, Tracy, Glenda, and JV, received honors for anniversary years with the Committee.
Paulette did a wonderful job with the Children's Fair last year, but needs help due to her
responsibilities with the carnival. Jane volunteered to help Paulette this year.
The Boy Scouts were supposed to be present to talk about what they do with the money they
make at the festival. In regards to the Boy Scouts having only one booth to sell all of the
drinks in the food tent, there have been complaints that people have to stand in two lines to get
food and then drinks. By then, the food is cold. Mo was thinking that we could have a second
drink booth on the other side of the food tent. This would help relieve the problems.

Karen states that the contracts are out and she is waiting for their return for confirmation of
the acts.
Karen feels that the teen stage needs revamping. She has asked 4 DJ's who are interested in
providing music to submit bids. She still is reviewing the bids before making any decisions.
Bizarre Entertainment will again, provide the music for the Food and Fun from 11:30-3
Monday.

venues, such as local dance groups, symphonic bands, etc.
Street entertainment will return this year to run on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday only.
Karen states that she needs money to fulfill contracts at this time. Bill Brimm told Karen to
contact him. Karen needs to know what is the total amount available to be used for
entertainment.

Most acts have been chosen, awaiting receipt of the signed contracts.
The stage and lighting contract is out.
Karen has talked to the company providing the Walk Arounds
Karen stated that we can use the Beer Tent for Family Tent on Monday.
