Chairman's Report: Mo thanked everyone for everything they have done to help make the BG Days so successful. The wrap up meeting will be in October. We will receive notice about the date. We will get together on Monday after all is done for our own wrap up party. Mo reminded the committee that we always need bodies to help clean up at the end of the festival. Police: Jim Newton - All set Park District: Ryan Risinger - Good to go Rick stated that the Basketball hoops for the Monday game were all set. Parade: Joe Tenerelli - Joe stated that he has 90 entries for the parade. Joe states that he needs as many people as possible on the parade route. He asks that everyone meet at the information tent at 10:30. He wants everyone on the route at 11. We will try to get as many golf carts as possible to get people up on the parade route. If anyone needs a lift back, to call on the radio and someone will come and get them. The police will be at the parade route blocking the streets at many of the intersections. If there any questions that you can't answer, use the radio. Joe stated that he needed some on foot by Regent and Bernard. Phil Kanoles may need a ride. Dean stated that he will run by his house and pick him up. The marshals have been told where to meet. Joe will try to get them all in one carriage. If not, one marshal will have to walk beside the carriage. Other than that, Joe stated that he is ready to go. Joe stated that there are no tee-shirts for the kids holding the signs. Rick stated that he needs one cart by the information booth by noon. Mobile Com: Roger Remblake - Roger reminded new committee members to call mobile com on the radio, not to use first names. Fun and Food: Rick Kahen - Good to go Rick stated that the Youth Commission is selling cotton candy. They will give it away Monday for the Fun and Food program. The food will be delivered at 10:30. Rick states that he needs help to pack the lunches at about 10:45. The sign indicating that the Food Tent will be closed during the Monday program is in the truck. The sign needs to read that the Food Tent will open at 12:30. For the wheelchair basketball game, all trustees will be playing at 12 noon. Fire Department: Troy Shannon - Good to go. Public Works; Ray Rigsby - No report Trustee Liaison: DeAnn Glover - She stated that we plan a party that runs well, that keeps everyone off the roads and safe. Chamber: Steve Panitch- There are 16 restaurants in the Food Tent. Steve wants to thank everyone on the committee for all the help and support while he was on the committee. Food Tent: Tom Johns - No report. Arts and Crafts: Nikki Lee/Glenda Hoelting - Nikki stated that she has 52 crafters this year. Other than that, everything is fine. Carnival: Paulette Greenberg - The pre-sale of the tickets has brought in $5062. The carnival inspection will be atl 1 for the rides and 2 for the games. The inspection is set up for tomorrow, Thursday. Paulette stated that she had 16 booths for the Children's Expo. Entertainment: Karen Danenberg - Karen stated that Ronnie Rice will not sing with New Colony Six. Karen stated that she will need help Sunday afternoon. She will also need help Sunday night as we need to help sell Gary Puckett merchandise. Fund Raisin: Sara Herman - Not present. Publicity: - Chantal Davidson/Lori Czarnecki Chantal stated that what is out is out. All the information is out there. Mo saw the insert on Wednesday or Thursday and stated that it looks very good. Village Liaison: - Bill Brimm Bill stated that the mini schedules to hand out have been corrected and have been received for the information booth. Glo Necklaces: Lori and Ron Hackett Good to go. VIP Party: Pam Soracco - Pam stated that all the information out. Everything is under control. The setup will be at 5, with the party from 6:30 to 8:30. Pam stated that she needs help for both.
