Fun and Food: Rick Kahen -
The wheelchair basketball team will be at the BG Days festival this year between 1 and 2 PM on
Monday. Rick states that he will have a captive audience, between fun and food and the resuming
of the festival. Rick discussed the alternate areas for the game from last year's intended site.
They include near the van garage, or by the chamber building.
Last year the game was planned by the Public Works building in the back at the east end of the
building. Rick stated that they must have standard basketball size portable hoops for the game.
He wants it near the food tent and the campus, and is considering the area near the gas pumps.
This is the easiest for the families to get to. We may have to have some people move their cars
away from that location. Rick will contact the trustees about where to set up.
The Village gave Astro Amusements the Golden Bison award, and Sandy from Astro sent a nice

of who attended last year and they will go on from there. Scott will be taking care of the Business
Fair.
