Chairman's Report:
Tom states that he has one item. He received a letter from Boy Scout Troup 100 from Twin
Grove Junior High. They wish to come to BG days and sell first aid kits. It was suggested
that they can go in the Children's Expo on Saturday. We got a letter from them last year, but
they were too late to be able to register. There will be no charge for the booth. Nikki is to
follow up with them.
JV has a letter from a resident suggesting that there be bug spray and sun screen available at
the festival. The letter continued that the resident can offer both as a fund raiser. The idea
was vetoed.

Joe Tenerelli came to DeAnn about a suggestion for the Grand Marshal. She ran it by the
Village Board and got a major thumbs up from the entire Board. The BG Days committee has
gotten approval from the village for the Grand Marshal.
Chamber: Ron Jess and Sara Herman -
Sara is not present.
Ron listed the restaurants identified for the festival so far.
DQ is asking for sundaes this year.
GrillWorks is asking for Cup of Mini Melt which is ice cream also.

other types of ice cream already.

Papa John's won the pizza lottery for the thin crust pizza during the weekend.
We have 11 to 12 not-for-profit organizations in the food tent.
Adam suggested that we may need to have a lottery in the future to let new restaurants in the
village be able to participate. As there never seems to be a waiting list for the restaurants to
participate, this is too early to discuss a possible lottery. Restaurants from last year have the
first right of refusal. If they participated last year, then come later to sign up, after the deadline
for last year participants, they are out of luck.

Glow Necklaces
Lori stated that last year, the sales were down. She feels that the big overhead lights at the
entrance to the main stage field are causing problems, as they are hurting the sales of the
necklaces. With the overhead lights, the sales have been down the last few years. She
understands that the lights are needed for the safety of the residents. JV stated that the lights
are needed due to the bad slope at the entrance to the main stage field. Lori was asking if they
could cut down on how many lights we have there. JV said to talk to the police and fire
department.
Lori stated that they had about 400 left from last year. She also stated that she will need
assistance in selling them this year as her kids are older. They need fresh blood in that group.
