Carnival: Debra Jess/Penni Jess -
Debra stated that they have already begun some work on the carnival. The carnival company has
some concerns with the area around the new building. As soon as the Park District knows about
when the building would be up, she asked Terri to notify her, so she can let the carnival company
know.
Debra also understands that the area around the flag pole will be fenced off, due to new
landscaping. That will change the spot for the ticket booth. WE will have to move the tent for
the Monday wrist bands also.
She said that we will be getting different rides this year, but the one stipulation she told the
carnival was that we had to have the four window ticket booth. We will be getting a different
team from the company with a different person in charge. She will get more information as time
goes on.
Debra also stated that she wants to make sure that we get a working ATM this year. Last year it
was down a lot. She stated that she knew that Harris Bank was interested in providing the ATM
machines.

been cut and the entertainment will be cut also. She has tentatively found acts for Saturday, and
Sunday nights. She has not received any signed contracts yet. We will still have the walk arounds
and beer tent entertainment. Karen stated that she has had to look at her entire budget, to save on
sound equipment, staging, everything. She will consider anyone for performing if they wish to
perform free. She has a particular love for those who live in the village.
