Everything is absolutely perfect. Staffing is fine. Karen will be handing out parking passes.
Park District: Terri Ebner—

BG Idol auditions were held at the end of July. They are pleased to announce that there are 10
finalists performing at this year's show on September 5rh, in addition to encore performances from
last year's winners. The finalists will hold a dress rehearsal on August 26rh
Parade: Joe Tenerelli/Ken Lazar/Lee Orlov/Murray Sprung -
Joe reminded us that the Navy entry needs to be fed—per contract.
He is down 25 participants from last year. We lost our main sponsor but Joe went out and got a
$2500 donation.
He is down three floats this year.
Signs are being made for the Trustees.
Joe stated that the parade marshals must be present at next week's meeting to find out parade
marshal meeting locations.
Per Lee's email: The parade participants have all been sent their lineup numbers and street
positions. There will be a new setup this year: the parade entries will be lined up in the actual
order they are in the parade instead of all of the floats on one street. This should help keep the
integrity of the order of the participants and make a smoother starting position for all the entries.
There are over 80 participants and the sub committee is looking forward to a great parade.

Roger stated that radios are ready. Next week he will give radio procedures.
Mobile Com will be located across the street, on the carnival side, next to the Park District

and cookies will already be in each bag before adding hot food to the bag. No pop this year—
water will be served.

for the disabled children that come to BG days. Jim decided to waive the crafter fee. Jim would
