the festival at the end of this week.
Jeff Braiman received a complaint from the Jewish War Vets that they were too far back in the
parade. It forced them to eat too late for their medications.

response was that this was a family parade.
Police: Scott Eisenmenger

way for the parade time, Sunday morning next year.

opportunity to perform this year. If possible, she would love to do another show next year,
preferably on Saturday afternoon. She would also like to have the Hot Shots Dance Team
perform on the Main Stage next year, either in conjunction with the Big Deal performance or as a
separate show.
Lastly, Terri thanked the committee for another successful Buffalo Grove Days.
Public Works: Dave Haisma/Brett Robinson
Dave stated that everything went better than last year. He personally wanted to thank all the
volunteers who worked all weekend. Most people do not see all the effort the committee
members put in.
Dave stated that he had a list of issues that need to be dealt with for next year's festival.
l. He wants to look next year to move the fire department to another corner. It might affect
the crafters. He wants to get them away form the main driveway.
2. Dave noted that there were some issues with power. He said that the vendors and people
come with more items with electrical needs than anticipated.. Dave will work with anyone
needing power. If they bring items with extra electrical needs, they will have to pay for it.
One restaurant brings extra fryers each year.

number of entrants. In regards to security with tents, the smaller number worked out
better.

events, such as the Main Stage all blue, etc.

JV commented that we need to make sure we get people out of the area faster at the end of the

that that would be possible. Karen said no due to the concert times of the Main Stage band
coordinated with the Beer Tent entertainment.
Adam had a comment about the signage for the not for profit tent near the information booth. He
suggested that it be stated as community organizations.

have 3 entertainment groups on Monday.
Adam stated that we need a larger campus and need to move to another location.

into the recycling bin, it will be sorted out later. If recycling material is thrown in the garbage, it
