The proposed exterior modifications were reviewed based upon the letter dated May 8, 2007 and the proposed elevation renderings dated April 12, 2007. Mr. Polyner explained that the changes were made based upon the recommendations of the March 14, 2007 Appearance Review. The existing colors look faded and clashes with the existing brick. The proposed colors are all earthtone colors and would closely match the existing bank building not attached to the shopping center. Only the EFIS would be painted. The remainder of the shopping center will be painted to match the Dominick's colors in the next couple of years. The color renderings were changed to show the entire front of the store and to reflect the proposed color changes against the existing shopping center. The gabled sections have been changed to retain windows, the middle portion (between the columns) has been recessed and will be lighter in color than the columns. Laminate slate will be added to the columns. The color of the windows frames will be changed to black. The brick on the columns located under the canopies would remain. They are proposing outdoor seating under the canopy sections in front of the building. ART RECOMMENDATION The proposed Modification of exterior design to "Lifestyle" design is approved per the letter dated May 8, 2007 and the rendering dated April 12, 2007. The proposed signs are scheduled to appear before the Zoning Board of Appeals for Sign Code variation on June 19, 2007.
