1987-014 ORDINANCE NO . 87- 14
AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit
pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of 1970 ; and
WHEREAS, the Village approved by Ordinance No . 77- 6 an
Annexation Agreement dated February 14 , 1977 , and that the term
of said Annexation Agreement was ten years ; and
WHEREAS , Paragraph 26 of said Annexation Agreement states as
follows :
1126 . At the expiration of this Agreement of if the
terms of this Agreement are not carried out by Devel-
oper , the land may be rezoned to an R-1 Zoning Classi-
fication or be disconnected from the Village if the
Village Board of Trustees so desire . "Developer" shall
include all signers hereto ."
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE , COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That the preceding Whereas clauses are hereby
made a part of this ordinance .
Section 2 . That the terms of the said Annexation Agreement
dated February 14 , 1977, have not been carried out in regards to
that real property that is described on Exhibit A to this
ordinance , which Exhibit A is hereby incorporated herein and made
a part hereof .
Section 3 . That the real property described on Exhibit A
attached hereto is hereby rezoned to the Village of Buffalo
Grove ' s R-1 One-Family Dwelling District .
Section 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval .
