ORDINANCE NO. 2004- 4 2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,ILLINOIS
Wisconsin Central East Platform Area
Buffalo Grove Metra Commuter Rail Facility
Commerce Court/Deerfield Parkway
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of the Illinois
Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the property legally described in Exhibit A hereto was annexed to the
Village of Buffalo Grove by Ordinance No. 2004- 41 pursuant to a written Annexation
Agreement dated_4/,1 j 2 0 0 4 Viand approved by the Village by Ordinance No. 2004- 4 0 ;
and,
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing for zoning and annexation has been given and a
public hearing was held.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook
and Lake Counties, Illinois as amended is hereby further amended by classifying the property
described in Exhibit A hereto into the Industrial District with a special use for use as railroad
right-of-way and a commuter rail facility.

Section 2. Development of the property shall be in compliance with the
Annexation Agreement dated Apr i 1 1 . 2 0 0 4 approved pursuant to
Ordinance No. 2004- 4 0 .
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its passage
and approval according to law. This Ordinance shall not be codified,

Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 49
in the Covington Corporate Center 2 Subdivision, according to the plat thereof, recorded
October 30, 1987, as Document No. 2627143; said point also being a point on the
Westerly line of the Wisconsin Central Ltd. railroad right-of-way; thence S 18' 38' 55"
E, 360.00 feet; thence N 71° 21' 05" E, 40.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence
continuing N 71° 21' 05" E, 60.00 feet to the Easterly line of the Wisconsin Central Ltd.
railroad right-of-way; thence along the Easterly line of the Wisconsin Central Ltd.
railroad right-of-way S 18' 38' 55" E, 770.00 feet; thence S 71' 21' 05" W, 60.00 feet;
thence N 18' 38' 55" W, 770.00 feet to the point of beginning, all in Lake County,
Illinois.
