ORDINANCE NO. 91- 26
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAN
WOODLAND COMMONS SHOPPING CENTER
Harris Bank Facility
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of
the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the real property legally described in Exhibit A attached
hereto was zoned in the B-3 Planned Business Center District by Ordinance
88-109 dated November 7, 1988, and said Ordinance required Village approval
of all site plans for the Property; and,
WHEREAS, the Village has received a request from the Harris Bank for
approval of a Preliminary Plan for a banking facility on Parcel A of the
Woodland Commons Shopping Center property; and,
WHEREAS, said Preliminary Plan dated February 8, 1991 (revised) attached
hereto as Exhibit B proposes a one-story building with an area of
approximately 4,000 square feet and six drive-through service lanes; and,
WHEREAS, Harris Bank has also submitted a Preliminary Engineering Plan
dated February 11, 1991 (revised) attached hereto as Exhibits C and C-1, a
Building Elevations sheet dated January 31, 1991 attached hereto as Exhibit
D, and a Landscape Plan dated January 31, 1991 attached hereto as Exhibit E;
and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has reviewed the proposed development and
exhibits and recommends approval of the Preliminary Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after due and careful
consideration have concluded that the development of the Property on the
terms and conditions herein set forth would enable the Village to control
development of the area and would serve the best interests of the Village.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. This Ordinance is made pursuant to and in accordance with
the Village's Zoning Ordinance, Development Ordinance, and the Village's Home
Rule powers. The preceding whereas clauses are hereby made a part of this
Ordinance.
Section 2. The Corporate Authorities hereby adopt a proper, valid and
binding ordinance approving a Preliminary Plan revision for Parcel A of Lot 3
legally described in Exhibit A and in accordance with the Preliminary Plan
attached hereto as Exhibit B and Exhibits C, C-1, D and E.
Section 3. Approval of said plan revision is subject to approval of the
development by the Village's Appearance Commission and approval of all site
engineering plans by the Village Engineer.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and
after its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.

Parcel A of Lot 3 of Woodland Commons Shopping Center and Commerce
Center, being a subdivision of part of the south half of the southeast
quarter of Section 17 and the north half of the northeast quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 20 and the west half of the northwest quarter of
Section 21, all in Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Lake County, Illinois.
