ORDINANCE NO. 89-_40
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
(Weiland Road Parcel adjacent to Highland Point, Unit 7)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of
the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the property legally described in Exhibit A hereto was annexed
to the Village of Buffalo Grove by Ordinance No. 89- 39 pursuant to Section
7-1-13 of the Illinois Municipal Code (Illinois Revised Statutes, 1987, Ch.
24, Par. 7-1-13) ; and,
WHEREAS, notice of the proposed annexation has been given to the
appropriate authorities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Buffalo
Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois as amended is hereby further amended
by classifying the property described in Exhibit A hereto in the R-6A
(One-Family Dwelling District) .
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and
after its passage and approval and according to law. This Ordinance shall
not be codified.

WEILAND ROAD PARCEL LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That part of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 33,
Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described
as follows: Beginning at a point in the West line of said quarter-quarter
section that is 646.79 feet north of the Southwest corner thereof, said point
being the intersection with a straight line drawn from a point on the South
line of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 33
that is 112.45 feet West of the Southeast corner thereof (said point also
being on the Westerly line of Weiland Road as dedicated by Highland Grove
Unit Number 3, being a Subdivision recorded April 7, 1978 as Document 1908909
in Lake County, Illinois) to a point on the North line of the aforesaid
Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 33 that is 118.05 feet
east of the Northwest corner thereof (said line being the Westerly
right-of-way line of County Highway 73 as proposed) ; thence northeasterly
along said proposed right-of-way line 432.05 feet to its intersection with
the old centerline of Weiland Road; thence southwesterly along said
centerline 113.27 feet to its intersection with the West line of said North-
east quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 33; thence south along said
West line 339.92 feet to the point of beginning in Lake County, Illinois,
except the Westerly 33 feet thereof.
