1987-005 ORDINANCE NO. 87- 5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS (Westchester Estates) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS, the hereinafter legally described real property was annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove by Ordinance No. 87- 4 pursuant to a written Annexation Agreement dated December 15, 1986, and approved by the Village by Ordinance No. 87- 3 ; and, WHEREAS, notices of public hearings for zoning and annexation on said Annexation Agreement have been given and public hearings were held. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois as amended is hereby further amended by classifying the following described property into the R-3 and R-4 Zoning Districts: R-3 ZONING DISTRICT Parcel I That part of the East 20 rods (except the South 60 feet thereof) of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Lake County, Illinois lying West of the following described line: Beginning at the intersection of the North line of the South 60 feet of said East 20 rods with the West line of the said East 20 rods; thence North 00°13'38" East, 651. 19 feet, on the West line of said East 20 rods; thence North 65°14'52" East, 98.39 feet; thence Northwesterly along a curve concave Southwest having a radius of 484.89 feet, an arc distance of 129.93 feet (the chord thereof bearing North 39°55' 18" West, 129.54 feet) to a point of tangency; thence North 47°35'52" West, 7.64 feet to a point on the West line of said East . 20 rods; thence North 00°13'38" East, 52.73 feet on said West line of the East 20 rods, thence North 34°01112" East, -1- i 31.73 feet; thence North 02°47'37" East, 70.00 feet; thence North 03°19'28" West, 72.00 feet; thence North 15°17'48" West, 37.56 feet; thence North 03°03'46" West, 70.00 feet; thence North 01011150" West, 40,00 feet to a point on the West line of said East 20 rods; thence North 00013'38" East, 20.60 feet on the West line of the East 20 rods to the North line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 28, being the point of termination. Parcel IV Lot 5 (except the East 300 feet) in Holub's Farm Subdivision, being a subdivision of parts of the Northwest quarter and the Southwest quarter • -2- of Section 28 and part of the Northeast quarter of Section 29, all in Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the plat thereof, recorded December 23, 1955, as Document 893038, in Book 33 of Plats, Page 71, - in Lake County, Illinois and also Lot 4 in Holub's Farm Subdivision, being a subdivision of part of the West half of Section 28 and the Northeast quarter of Section 29, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof, recorded December 23, 1955 as Document 893038 in Recorder's Office of Lake County, Illinois, in Lake County, Illinois. Parcel V The East 300 feet of Lot 5 in Frank H. Holub's Farm Subdivision, being a subdivision of parts of the Northwest quarter quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 28 and part of the Northeast quarter of Section 29, all in Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof, recorded December 23, 1955, as Document 893038 in Book 33 of Plats, Page 71, in Lake County, Illinois. Section 2. The special conditions described in Paragraph 30 of the Annexation Agreement dated December 15, 1986, passed and approved pursuant to Ordinance No. 87- 3 are hereby granted. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.
