AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND TO
THE V BUFFALO GROVE

WHEREAS, Petitions signed by all of the property owners
and electors of certain parcels of land have been presented to
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo
Grove, and
WHEREAS, said parcels are all contiguous to the Village
and are not in any other city, village or incorporated town, and
WHEREAS, upon due consideration, it is considered to the
best interest of the Village to annex said lands,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY ILLINOIS :
SECTION I. The following described parcels of land, being
the subject of the petitions to annex which said
petitions have been signed by all of the owners and
electors of said lands and comply with the provisions
of the Statutes of the State of Illinois, are hereby
annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois:
Parcel 1.
That part of the East half (1/2) of the Southwest
quarter (1/4) of Section 29, Township 43 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Lake County, Illinois, lying north of the center
line of Illinois Route No. 83.
Parcel 2.
That part of the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 29, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the
3rd Principal Meridian, bounded by a line described
nr. 4:-11--1. . 4" flf- the 4"f-nr--e^4-4 " of f-11e
West line of said Southwest 1/4 with the center
line of Illinois Route No. 83; thence Southeasterly
along the center line of said road, 538.37 feet;
thence Southerly at right angles to said center line,
401.0 feet to an intersection with a line drawn at
right angles to the West line of said Southwest 1/4
through a point on said line 538.37 feet South of the
place of beginning; thence West along said line drawn
at right angles to the West line of said Southwest 1/4,
401.0 feet to a point on the West line of said Southwest
1/4; thence North along said West line, 538.37 feet to
the place of beginning, Lake County, Illinois.
Parcel 3.
That part of the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 29, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the
3rd Principal Meridian, lying South of the center
line of Illinois Route No. 83 (excepting therefrom
that part thereof bounded by a line described as
follows: Commencing at the intersection of the West
line of said Southwest 1/4 with the center line of
Illinois Route No. 83; thence Southeasterly along the
center line of said road, 538.37 feet; thence Southerly
at right angles to said center line, 401.0 feet to an
intersection with a line drawn at right angles to the
West line of said Southwest 1/4 through a point on said
line 538.37 feet South of the place of beginning; thence
West along said line drawn at right angles to the West
line of said Southwest 1/4, 401.0 feet to a point on
the West line of said Southwest 1/4; thence North along
said West line, 538.37 feet to the place of beginning),
Lake County, Illinois;
Parcel 4.
The Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 32,
Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal
Meridian, Fake County, Illinois.
SECTION 2. Plats of said lands are attached to this
ordinance and made a part thereof.
SECTION 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this
ordinance in the Office of the County Recorder of Lake
County, Illinois.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
