ORDINANCE NO. 87-38
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT OF AN
ANNEXATION AGREEMENT (OLD FARM VILLAGE II)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of
the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Buffalo Grove
approved by Ordinance No. 86-29 an Annexation Agreement dated May 5, 1986
for the following legally described property:
Parcel 1 : That part of Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian lying northeasterly of the 210 foot Commonwealth
Edison Company right-of-way, westerly of relocated Weiland Road, southerly
of Aptakisic Road and southerly and easterly of the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of said Section 28 and excepting from the above described
tract that part described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west line
of the northeast quarter of Section 28, 40.00 feet south of the northwest
corner of said northeast quarter of Section 28; thence along the bearings
described in Document 178878, north 89°10'38" east along the south line of
Long Grove-Aptakisic Road, 733.37 feet to the point of beginning; thence
south 553.26 feet; thence north 88°28'03" east 678.89 feet; thence north
544.82 feet to a point on the south line of Long Grove-Aptakisic Road; thence
west on the south line of said Long Grove-Aptakisic Road to the point of
beginning all in Lake County, Illinois.
Parcel 2: That part of Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian lying easterly of relocated Weiland Road; southerly
of Aptakisic Road, northerly of school lot, westerly of Old Weiland Road
(Buffalo Grove Road) , excepting therefrom that part of the relocated Weiland
Road right-of-way lying northerly of school lot and including in the above
described tract that portion of Weiland Road (Buffalo Grove Road) lying
easterly of the above described tract all in Lake County, Illinois.
WHEREAS, the Village by Ordinance No. 86-30 did annex the hereinabove
mentioned property; and,
WHEREAS, proper and due notice of a public hearing on said Annexation
Agreement Amendment has been given and a public hearing held; and,
WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the best interests of the Village of
Buffalo Grove to approve said Annexation Agreement Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:

Section 1 . The preceding Whereas clauses are hereby made a part of
this Ordinance.
Section 2. The Amendment to the 0ld Farm Village 11 Annexation Agreement,
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" is approved.
Section 3. The President and Clerk of the Village are hereby authorized
to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Village of Buffalo Grove.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.
