1986-031 ORDINANCE NO® 86- 31 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS (Old Farm Village II) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS, the hereinafter legally described real property was annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove by Ordinance No® 86- 30 pursuant to a written Annexation Agreement dated May 5, 1986, and approved by the Village by Ordinance No. 86- 29 ; and, WHEREAS, notices of public hearings for zoning and annexation on said Annexation Agreement have been given and public hearings were held: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1® The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, as amended is hereby further amended by classifying upon annexation, the territory described in that Annexation Agreement dated May 5, 1986, as approved by Ordinance No. 86- 29 into the R-3 and R-4 One-Family Dwelling Districts and the B-1 Limited Retail Business District as legally described below: R-3 Zoning Area That part of Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of the northeast 1/4 of Section 28, 40.00 feet south of the northwest corner of said northeast 1/4 of Section 28; thence 89'10'38" east, along the south line of Long Grove-Aptakisic Road 733.37 feet; thence south 553.26 feet; thence north 88'28'03" east 1140.44 feet to a point on a curve being the westerly line of Weiland Road, said curve being concave westerly and having a radius of 2824. 79 feet; thence southerly along the arc of said curve having a chord bearing south 03'09'43" east a distance of 852.73 feet; thence north 82'46'48" west a distance of 655. 17 feet to a point of curvature to the left; thence along the arc of said curve having a radius of 515.00 feet a distance of 178.32 feet to a point of tangency; thence south 77'22'52" west a distance of 155.64 feet to a point of curvature to the left; thence along the arc of said curve having a radius of 445.00 feet a distance of 446.83 feet to a point of tangency; thence south 19'50'58" west a distance of 110.89 feet to a point of curvature to the right; thence along the arc of said curve having a radius of 460.00 feet a distance of 177. 40 feet to a point of tangency; thence south 41*56'45" west a distance of 255. 18 feet to the northeasterly line of a 210 foot wide „ I- -2- Commonwealth Edison right-of-way; thence north 48'03' 15" west along said northeasterly line a distance of 1142.31 feet to a point on the north line of the south 1/2 of the northwest 1/4 of said Section 28; thence north 89'51'50" east along said north line a distance of 528.64 feet to a point on the west line of said northeast 1/4; thence north 00'00'00" east along said west line a distance of 1284. 17 feet to the point of beginning containing 55.281 acres, all in Lake County, Illinois. SECTION 2. The said zoning shall be and is subject to the provision of Ordinance No. 86-, 29 being "An Ordinance Approving an Annexation Agree- ment" passed and approved May 5, 1986, which Ordinance is by reference made a part hereof. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.
