AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by owners and electors of certain
parcels of land has been presented to the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Village, is not
in any other city, village or incorporated town, and
WHEREAS, upon due consideration, it is considered to the best
interest of the Village to annex said land, and
WHEREAS, the statutory notice has been given Wheeling Rural
Fire Protection District,
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS :
SECTION 1. The following described parcels of land, being
the subject of the petition to annex (which said petition complies
with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois) is
hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois :
The South 250 feet of the West 250 feet of the East one-half of
The Southwest one quarter of Section 5, Township 42 North,
Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian.
The East one-half of the Northwest one-quarter of Section 8, the
West 28 acres of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 8, and the
North 45 acres of a tract of land described as the East one-half
of the Southwest one-quarter and the West one-half of the South-
east one-quarter of Section 8, all in Township 42 North, Range
11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian.
The East 33.50 feet of the North three-fourths of the West one-half
of the Northwest one-quarter of Section 8, Township 42 North,
Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian.
The South 33.0 feet of the East one-half of the Southwest one-
quarter of Section 5, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the
3rd Principal Meridian, except the West 250.0 feet thereof.
The South 33.0 feet of the West 461. 10 feet of the West one-
half of the Southeast one-quarter of Section 5, Township 42
North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian.
SECTION 2. A plat of said land is attached to this ordinance
and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to forthwith file a certified copy of this ordinance in the Office
of the County Recorder of Cook County, Illinois .
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
