1968-044 ORDINANCE NO. 68 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE. WHEREAS, a petition signed by owners and electors of certain parcels of land has been presented to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Village, is not in any other city, village or incorporated town, and WHEREAS, upon due consideration, it is considered to the best interest of the Village to annex said land, and WHEREAS, the statutory notice has been given Wheeling Township Fire Protection District, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS : SECTION 1. The following described parcels of land, being the subject of the petition to annex (which said petition complies with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois) is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois: Parcel 1: The West 85 feet of the East 840 feet of the North 653.45 feet of the East half of the North East quarter of Section 8, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd P.M. ; also Parcel 2 : The West 250 feet of the East 755 feet of the North 653.45 feet of the East half of the North East quarter of Section 8, Town- ship 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd P.M. ; also Parcel 3 : The West 65 feet of the East 505 feet of the North 653.45 feet of the East half of the North East quarter of Section 8, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd P.M. , in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION 2. A plat of said land is attached to this ordinance and made a part hereof. SECTION 3 . The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this ordinance in the Office of the County Recorder of Cook County, Illinois . SECTION 4.
