1967-014 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF
BUFFALO GROVE
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of record and
electors of the territory hereinafter described has heretofore been filed with
the Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove; and
WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits of any munici-
pality but is contiguous to the Village of Buffalo Grove; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to statute appropriate notice has been given to the Fire
Protection Districts and copies thereof have been recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois as Document No. 20081820; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Buffalo Grove have
determined that the annexation of said territory to the Village of Buffalo Grove
is in the best interests of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE.
Section 1. That the territory legally described as;
The East 22 acres of the South 60 acres of the
South 112 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 6,
Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd
Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois,
an accurate copy of which territory is attached hereto and made part hereof,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove.
Sect:ion-2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove is hereby
directed to to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illi-
nois a copy of this ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory
annexed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
