ORDINANCE NO. 92- 46
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A SPECIAL USE IN THE
INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,
COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Training Center,
1362 Barclay, Boulevard, Arbor Creek Business Centre
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue
of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the hereinafter legally described real property is zoned in
the Industrial District; and,
WHEREAS, Gregg Didech and Kelly Crumley as owners of Buffalo Grove
Gymnastics, Ltd. have petitioned to the Village for approval of a Special Use
to operate a gymnastics training facility; and,
WHEREAS, the petitioners would lease a building space of approximately
13,500 square feet from the Klefstad Companies, Inc. , owner of the
Property; and,
WHEREAS, the petitioners propose to develop the gymnastics training
facility pursuant to the following exhibits:
EXHIBIT A Detail plan of safety pit area
EXHIBIT B Building elevation and floor plan dated April 22,
by Klefstad Engineering Co.
EXHIBIT C Plot plan dated February 8, 1989 by Klefstad
Engineering Co.
WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing concerning the petition for
approval of the Special Use was given and the public hearing was held by
the Buffalo Grove Plan Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission determined that the criteria for a
Special Use as set forth in Section 17.28.040 of the Village's Zoning

Ordinance have been met and development of the Property would be
compatible with adjacent properties; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees after due and careful
consideration have concluded that the development of the Property on the
terms and conditions herein set forth would enable the Village to control
development of the area and would serve the best interests of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . This Ordinance is made pursuant to and in accordance with
the Village's Zoning Ordinance, Development Ordinance and the Village's
Home Rule powers. The preceding whereas clauses are hereby made a part
of this Ordinance.
Section 2. The Corporate Authorities hereby adopt a proper, valid and
binding ordinance approving a Special Use for a gymnastics training facility
pursuant to EXHIBITS A, B and C attached hereto for the following legally
described property:
Lot 18 of the Arbor Creek Business Centre, a subdivision in Section
27, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Lake County, Illinois.
Section 3. Hours of daily operation of the facility shall be limited to
9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A minimum of 25 parking spaces on the Property
shall be allocated for use by the gymnastics training facility.

Section 4. The Village hereby reserves the right to amend this
ordinance to insert special use conditions.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after
its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.
