AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 70-17 , BEING
AN ORDINt.NCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE.
WHEREAS, there was heretofore passed Ordinance No. 70-17
being an Ordinance Annexing -Certain Territory to the Village of
Buffalo Grove, and
WHEREAS, said ordinance was recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of Lake County, Illinois, on July 14, 1970,
as document No. 1465753, and
WHEREAS, a portion of the legal description was inadvertently
omitted from said ordinance,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS :
SECTION 1: This Ordinance is passed for the express purpose
of correcting the legal description of the land annexed as it
appears in the recorded document No. 1465753 .
SECTION 2 : The legal description appearing in Section 1,
Parcel B, Ordinance No. 70-17 , recorded as document No. 1465753
is hereby corrected to read as follows :
Parcel "B" •
That part of the southwest 1/4 of Section 33, Township 43
North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian,
described as follows :-Commencing at a point in the center
line of Illinois State Route 83, said point being 108 . 0
feet north of (measured perpendicular to) the south line
of said southwest 1/4; Thence West parallel with the south
line of said southwest 1/4, 377 . 01 feet ; Thence North 1
degree 31 minutes 20 seconds East, 51. 05 feet ; Thence North
81 degrees 2 minutes 22 seconds West, 183 .90 feet ; Thence
North 11 degrees 38 minutes 16 seconds West, 216 .60 feet,
to a point for a point of beginning of the parcel of land
intended to be described; Thence South 86 degrees 2 minutes

point 280. 0 feet west of the center line of Illinois
Route 83 ; Thence South 8 degrees 48 minutes East
parallel with said center line, 412 . 0 feet ; Thence East
280. 0 feet to the center line of said Route 83 ; Thence
South 8 degrees 48 minutes East along said center line,
66 . 0 feet ; Thence West, 528 . 83 feet ; Thence South 11
degrees 38 minutes 16 seconds East, 34. 25 feet to the point
of beginning, in Lake County, Illinois .
Section 3 : A plat of said land with the corrected legal
description is attached to this Ordinance and made a part
hereof.
SECTION : All other provisions of Ordinance No. 70-17
recorded as document No. 1465753 shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 5 : The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this Ordinance
in the Office of the County Recorder of Lake County, Illinois .
SECTION 6 : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
