1962-005 ORDINANCE NO. 0 62 - 5 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE WHEREAS , a Petition signed by all of the property owners and electors of a certain parcel of land has been presented to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Village, is not in any other city, village or incorporated town, and WHEREAS , upon due consideration it is considered to the best interest of the Village to annex said land. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS- SECTION 1. The following described parcel of land, being the subject of the petition to annex which said petition has been signed by all of the owners and electors of said land and complies with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois, is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook County, Illinois: All that part of Sections 29, 32 and 33, Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian and of Section 5, Township 42 North, Range 11,,Dast of the 3rd Principal Meridian bounded by a line described as follows, to wit: Commencing at the center of said Section 29; thence West along the North line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 29 to the West line of the East 1/2 there- of; thence South on the Nest line of the East 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 29 to the South line thereof; thence South on the West line of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the aforesaid Section 32 to the South line of said quarter section; thence South on the Meat line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 32 to the South line thereof; thence East on the South line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 32 to a point 826 feet West of the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 32; thence South on a line 826 feet 'Nest of and parallel with the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 32 to the South line thereof; thence East on the South line of said quarter section to the iYest line of the Northeast 1/4 of the aforesaid Section 5; thence South on the West line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5 to the South line of the North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5; thence East on the South line of the North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5 to the East line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section $j thence North along said line to the South line of the North 660 feet of the North- east 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5; thence East along the South line of the North 660 feet,as aforesaid,to the East line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5j thence North along the East line6of said quarter section to the Northeast corner of said Section 5 and the South line of the Southeast 1/4 of aforesaid Section, 321 thence East along the South line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 32 to the Southeast corner thereof and the Southwest corner of aforesaid Section 33; thence North 55 1/2 degrees East 11.89 chains to the center of MoRenry,,Road; thence North 34 degrees Kest along the center of said road, 9.30 chains to the intersection of Checker Roadj thence Westerl along the center of said Checker. A plat of said land is attached to this ordi- nance and made a part thereof. SECTION 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this ordinance in the Office of the County Recorder of Cook County, Illinois, and Lake County, Illinoi SECTION 4.
