1982-041 ORDINANCE NO. 82- 4l AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE i ACQUISITION OF LAND IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, that: SECTION 1: The real estate hereinafter described is hereby determined to be necessary, desirable and in the best public interest to be acquired by the Village of Buffalo Grove for the purposes of establishing and sup- plying waterworks and sewerage system and purchasing, improving, extending and operating waterworks and sewerage system and to lay out, establish, construct and maintain drains, ditches, pumping works and machinery for drainage purposes and to enlarge, construct or improve a natural or arti- ficial drain outside of the corporate limits of the Village. SECTION 2: It is hereby determined that the real estate hereinafter described be used, occupied and developed for those purposes as set forth in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3: That the real estate hereinafter described is privately • f jowned and is legally described as follows: THAT PART OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 43 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN BOUNDED BY A LINE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COFIMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE EAST 589.29 FEET OF THE i NORTH HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 29; THENCE NORTH 00020'49" EAST ALONG THE EAST LINE OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 29; 383.42 FEET; THENCE NORTH 60057'06" WEST 79.96 FEET TO i A PLACE OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 60057'06" ;BEST 17.79 FEET; THENCE NORTH 3027'47" WEST 162.22 FEET; THENCE NORTH 86032'13" EAST 15.00 I " FEET; THENCE SOUTH 3027'47" EAST 171.78 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 2505 SQUARE FEET, ALL IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. SECTION 4: That William Raysa, Attorney for the Village of Buffalo Grove, and William Balling, Village Manager of the Village of Buffalo Grove { be and hereby are authorized, empowered and directed to cause said property k to be appraised by independent qualified real estate appraisers, to determine title to said real estate, to cause said real estate to be surveyed, bored i or platted as may be necessary, to offer to purchase said property from k the owner or owners thereof at the approved appraisal price, subject only n t to final approval of this Board, and otherwise to attempt to agree on behalf { of the Village of Buffalo Grove with the owner or owners of the lands herein- before described for the purchase thereof by the Village of Buffalo Grove. k SECTION 5: That in the event the compensation to be paid for said parcel of land cannot be agreed upon with the owner or owners of said land, or in the event the owners or persons with interest of title cannot be located, or ascertained, then William Raysa, Attorney for the Village of Buffalo Grove, shall be, and he is hereby authorized, instructed and directed to institute and maintain in the name of and on behalf of the Village of Buffalo Grove, in a court of competent jurisdiction such proceedings as may be appropriate ° under the laws of the State of Illinois relating to the exercise of the `C right of eminent domain and such other statutes as may be applicable, for the condemnation of said parcel of property or such part or parts thereof as may not have been acquired by purchase. SECTION 6: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed insofar as they conflict , herewith.
