AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
WHEREAS , a petition signed by owners of certain parcels
of land has been presented to the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Buffalo Grove, and
WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the Village, is not
in any other city, village or incorporated town, and
WHEREAS , upon due consideration, it is considered tothe
best interest of the Village to annex said land,
WHEREAS , the statutory notice has been given Wheeling Public
Library District and Wheeling Township Fire Protection District,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS :
Section 1. The following described parcels of land, being
the subject of the petition to annex (which said petition complies
with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois) is
hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois :
Parcel 1•
Lots 5, b and 41, in Dun-Lo Highlands, being a Subdivision
of the West half of the Northwest quarter (except the South
25 acres thereof) of Section 9 , Township 42 North, Range
11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois .
Parcel 2:
Lot 4 in Dun-Lo Highlands, being a Subdivision of the West
half of the Northwest quarter (except the South 25 acres
thereof) in Section 9 , Township 42 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois .
Section 2. A plat of said land is attached to this
ordinance and made a part hereof.
Section 3 . The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this ordinance
in the Office of the County Recorder of :Cook County, Illinois .
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
