ORDINANCE NO. 93-2_
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE. ILLINOIS
(EUL/MALNATI PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, the village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit
pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of 1970 ; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove has received a written
petition pursuant to and meeting the requirements of Section
5/7-1-24 of Chapter 65 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (1992) for
the territory legally described on the Plat of Annexation which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A (the
"Property" ) ; and
WHEREAS, the property is not part of any Fire Protection
District, Public Library District and does not include any highway
under the jurisdiction of any township; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17 . 60 . 03 of the Village of
Buffalo Grove Zoning Ordinance newly annexed land is automatically,
upon annexation, classified as within the R-E One Family Dwelling
District ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . The foregoing Whereas clauses are hereby
incorporated into this ordinance .
Section 2 . That the legally described real property
("Property" ) as set ,- forth—on the Plat of Annexation which is
attached hereto as Exhibit A be and hereby is annexed to the
Village of Buffalo Grove .
Section 3 . The Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove
is hereby directed to cause to be filed in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, a copy of this Ordinance with an
accurate map of the territory annexed.
,Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval and upon the corporate
authorities of the Village of Wheeling disconnecting the Property.
This Ordinance shall not be codified.
