1983-037 ORDINANCE NO. 83- 37 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS (Cedar View Residential ) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS, the hereinafter legally described real property was annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove by Ordinance 83- 36 pursuant to a written Annexation Agreement dated August 1, 1983, and approved by the Village by Ordinance No. 83- 35 ; and, WHEREAS, notices of public hearings for zoning and annexation on said Annexation Agreement have been given and public hearings were held. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1, The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties , Illinois, as amended is hereby further amended by classifying upon annexation of the territory hereinafter legally described into the R-9 Multiple Family Dwelling District, with a special use for a Planned Development: That part of the East 112 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 8, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian bounded by a line described as follows : Beginning at a point on the East line of said Northeast 1/4, which is 653.45 feet South of the Northeast corner thereof; thence West along a line parallel with the North line of said Northeast 1/4, 1308. 15 feet to a point on the West line of the East 1/2 of said Northeast 1/4; thence South along said West line, 491.98 feet to the North line of the South 45 acres of the East 112 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 8; thence East along the North line of the South 45 acres, as aforesaid, 1208,36 feet to a point on a line 100.0 feet West of and parallel with the East line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 8; thence North along said line 100.0 feet West of and parallel , 120.0 feet; thence East along a line parallel with the North line of the South 45 acres, aforesaid, 100.0 feet to a point on the East line of said Northeast 1/4; thence North along the East line of said Northeast 1/4, 369.20 feet to the place of beginning, Cook County, Illinois. SECTION 2. The said zoning shall be and is subject to the provision of Ordinance No. 83- 35 , being "An Ordinance Approving an Annexation Agreement" passed and approved August 1, 1983, which Ordinance is by reference made a -2- SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its passage and approval . This Ordinance shall not be codified.
