AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
71-26 BEING "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE

VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS"
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees passed and approved
"An Ordinance Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Buffalo Grove" being Ordinance No. 71-26, and
WHEREAS, Grand Spaulding Dodge purchased the property involved from
Chrysler Corporation, and
WHEREAS, Grand Spaulding Dodge has been granted a building permit
and has commenced building, and
WHEREAS, it has been represented by Grand Spaulding Dodge that it
will be unable to complete the building by October 11 , 1974, and
WHEREAS, the above described Zoning Amendment contains a provision
that failure to complete the building/s on or before October 11 , 1974,
will result in reversion of the property to B-3 Zoning District, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees consider it in the
best interest of the Village to have a commercial enterprise which will
return a large volume of sales tax dollars to the Village,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (b) of Section 2 of the aforesaid Ordinance
No. 71-26 Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance passed and
approved by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, is amended to read
as follows:
Paragraph (b) In the event the property is not put to
such use on or before October 11, 1975, the same shall
automatically and without further action revert to B-3
Planned Business Center District.
SECTION 2. The property involved in said ordinance is legally

The West 500 feet of the North 871.20 feet of
the East h of the Northwest 4 of Section 8,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd
P.M. , (except that part taken for highway
purposes) in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 3. All of the other provisions of said
Zoning Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
