1971-026 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,
ILLINOIS, FOR THE YEAR 1961 AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the following described property is within the
Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, Chrysler ;Realty Corporation, a corporation, proposed
purchaser of said land, by and with the consent and approval of
Harold Weidner and Barbara, his wife, owners, have filed a
Petition to rezone the said land from a B-3 to a B-4 Business
Services and Wholesale District with a special and limited use, and
WHEREAS, the following described tract of land is currently
zoned in the B-3 Planned Business Center District, and
WHEREAS, the, Plan Commission (Zoning Commission) of the
Village held public hearings to rezone all in accordance with
the Statutes of the State- of Illinois and the Ordinances of the
Village of Buffalo Grove, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission did make and file recommendations
to the President and Board of Trustees and with sundry changes
the President and Board of Trustees did approve of such recommendations.
WHEREAS, the applicants by and with the consent of the owners
have represented that the parcel involved will be used soley and
exclusively for a retail automobile and one-half ton to one ton
truck sales and service agency and for no other purpose whatsoever.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, C00i AND -LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. The property involved is described as follows:
The West 500 feet of the North 871.20 feet of the East 1/2
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 8, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the 3rd P.M. , (except that part taken
for highway purposes) in Cook County, Illinois.

(a) To be used solely and exclusively for a retail
automobile and 1k ton, or under, truck sales
and service agency and incidental or occasional
sales and service of larger truck type vehicles
together with such other accessory uses normally
related to a manufacturer's authorized automobile
sales and service agency.
(b) In the event the property is not put to such use
on or before three years from the date of pass-
age of this Ordinance the same shall automatically
and without further action revert to B-3 Planned
Business Center District.
(c) If, at any time, the said use is abandoned for
a period in excess of two years, the property
shall automatically and without further notice
revert to a `B-3 Planned Business Center District.
(d) Approval by the Plan Commission of the type and
size of screening on the periphery of the pro-
perty where same is contiguous to residential
zoning.
(e) Submission of site plan to Plan Commission for
review before building.
(f) To the provisions of Ordinance No. 68-6 as Amended
from time to time (Subdivision Ordinance) and .all
other applicable Ordinances. of the Village.

Section 3. The Zoning Map of the Village shall be and
is amended so as to reflect the Zoning District as herein
set forth.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
