1985-049 ORDINANCE NO. 85-49
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS
(Lot 11, Block 10, Columbian Gardens Unit 2)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to
the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the following legally described unincorporated territory, con-
taining 60 acres or less is wholly bounded by the Village of Buffalo Grove; and,
WHEREAS, notice of the proposed annexation of such territory has been
given the appropraite authorities; and,
WHEREAS, notice of the proposed annexation of such territory has been
published pursuant to Section 7-1-13 of the Illinois Municipal Code (Illinois
Revised Statutes, 1983, Ch. 24, Par. 7-1-13) ; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17.60.03 of the Village of Buffalo Grove
Zoning Ordinance newly annexed land is automatically, upon annexation, clas-
sified as within the R-E One Family Dwelling District:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
SECTION .I. That the following legally described real property be and
hereby is annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove:
Lot 11 in Block 10 of Columbian Gardens Unit 2 in Section 35,
Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Merid-
ian in Lake County, Illinois.
A true and correct map of said real property is attached hereto and made a
part hereof as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove is hereby
directed to cause to be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake
County, a copy of this Ordinance with an accurate map of the territory annexed.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and
after its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.

records of the Village Board of said Village of Buffalo Grove, and that
said Ordinance received the necessary majority of the corporate authorities '
vote for its adoption.
