AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS,
FOR THE YEAR 1960 AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, upon the application made by the owners of

certain tracts of land, public hearings were held by the
i
Zoning Commission (Plan Commission) in accordance with the
statutes of the State of Illinois and the ordinances of the
Village of Buffalo Grove, and said Commission did file and
make recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees
with respect to the zoning classification of said lands and
the Board approved said recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. The zoning map of the Village of Buffalo Grove
as set forth in the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance of 1961 as Amended from time to
time is further amended to authorize and provide
for the following described land to be placed
in the classifications hereinafter set forth:
DESCRIPTION OF ENTIRE PARCEL
The West half of the South West Quarter of
Section 32, Township 43 North, Range 11
East of the third principal meridian
(except that part lying North of a line
1070. 75 feet North of an parallel with the
South line of said South West Quarter
aforesaid) , in Lake County, Illinois.
(a) A rectangular portion of said land containing
3.9788 acres, more or less, in the B-2 General
Retail District. Said portion being located at
the northeast corner of the intersection of
Lake-Cook Road and Arlington Heights Road, having
-- tage of 348 feet on Lake•-Cook Road and
498 feet on Arlington Heights Road. +
(b) The remainder of the aforesaid entire parcel,
containing 27. 1819 acres, more or less, in the
R-9 Multiple-Family Dwelling District as a
planned residential development subject to
the conditions and restrictions set forth
in Annexation Agreement dated �

1969, by and between First National Bank and
Trust Company of Evanston, Trustee under Trust
Agreement dated February 21, 1969, Trust #R-1410,
Chesterfield Development Corp. , an Illinois
Corporation, and the Village of Buffalo Grove,
Illinois, which said Agreement is part of the
records of the Village.
SECTION 2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to enlarge and change the official
zoning map of the Village to conform to the
provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
