AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, statutory notice has been given the
Palatine Rural Fire Protection District and Long Grove
Rural Fire Protection District and copy of same has been
filed in the office of the County Recorder of Cook County,
Doc. No. 20081820, and
WHEREAS , Township High School District No. 214
Cook County, Illinois , has passed a resolution authorizing
annexation of the land hereinafter described to the Village
of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and
WHEREAS , said land is contiguous to the Village
and is not in any other City, Village or Incorporated Town,
and,
WHEREAS , it is considered to the best interest
of -the Village to annex said land, and
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. The following described parcel of
land is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove,
Illinois:
The Southwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 5, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2. A plat of said land is attached to
this ordinance and made a part hereof.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this
ordinance in the Office of the County Recorder of Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
