NO 18046098 DEC. 21, 1960) 04c 098 ORDINANCE NO. 0 60 14 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE WHEREAS , a Petition signed by all of the property owners and electors of a certain parcel of land has been presented to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, and WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the Village, is not in any other city, village or incorporated 03 town, and C� .0 WHEREAS, upon due consideration it is considered to the best interest of the Village to annex said land. CQ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS : SECTION 1. The following described parcel of land, being the subject of the petition to annex which said petition has been signed by all of the owners and electors of said land and complies with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois, is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook County, Illinois: The W. 3/4 (except the N. 706.86 ft. thereof) of the S.W. 1/4 of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd P.M. and the E. 1/2 of the S .E. 1/4 of Section 5, Township 42 North, Range 11, E. of the 3rd P.M. (except the W. 30 acres thereof and except ,. that part thereof described as follows : beginning at the point of intersection of Sections 4 and 5 in Township of Wheeling and following the S . ly line of Section 5 , for 405 feet to a Westerly point on said line; thence following a line in a N. ly direction parallel with the E. ly line of Section 5 for 249 feet to a point ; thence following a line in a W'. ly direction parallel with the S. ly line of Section 5 for 175 feet to a point; thence following a line in a S. ly direction for 249 feet to a point on said S. ly line of Section 5; thence E. ly along said S. ly line for 175 feet to the place of beginning) in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION 2. A plat of said land is attached to this ordi- nance and made a part thereof. SECTION 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forthwith file a certified copy OD CD ..P.. of this ordinance in the Office of the County Cr, CD Recorder of Cook County, Illinois. LCD SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. Passed this 15th day of December, 1960.
