AN ORD INANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE VILI.,AGE OF
BI'FFALO GROVE
IiIIIEREAS, a written petition signed by the owners of
record of all of the land in the territory hereinafter described,
requesting the annexation of such territory to the Vil!-age of
Buffalo crove, has been f il-ed with the Village Clerk of the Village
of Buffalo Grove i and
WHEREAS, said territorylimits of any municipality, but
Buffalo Grove; and
is not within theis contiguous to
corporate
the Village of
and
WIIEREAS, notice of the proposed annexation of such terri-
tory has been given to the Wheeling Township Fire Protection
District, as provided by Iaw, a copy of which Notice has been
recoraled in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois, on June 2L, L966, as Document No. 19863515; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDEMT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILI,AGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND
LAKE COT]NTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOIiIS :
SECTION l: That the territory described as:
That part of Section 9, Township 42 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principat Meridian, bounded and
described as follows: Commenc ing at a point on the
East line of the YIest half of the Northeast euarterof said Section 9, 525.00 feet South of the South-
west corner of the Northeast ouarter of the North-
east Quarter of Section 9; thence Westerly a1_ong
a line parallel to the South line of the North
half of said Section 9, a distance of 1628.79 feetto the East l-ine of the West 990.0 feet of the
East half of the Northwest ouarter of said Section 9;
thence North along said East line of said West
990.0 feet, 84.93 feet to the North Iine of the
South Third of the North half of the Southeast
Ouarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 9;
thence West along said North line, 990.00 feet to
the West l-ine of the East half of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 9; thence South along said
WIIEREAS, such territory has no electors residing therein;
West l-ine to the South line of the North half of
said Section 9; thence East along said South line
2624.L4 feet to the East line of the West half of
the Northeast quarter of said Section 9; thence
North along said East 1ine, 794.53 feet to the
place of beginning, (excepting therefrom the
South 258.0 feet, as measured on the West line
thereof of the West 514.80 feet, as measured
on the South line thereof, of the Southeast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Sectr-on 9,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian) a1I in Cook County, IIIinois,
be and it is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffal-o Grove. A
true and correct map of said territory is attached hereto and
made part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: The Vi IIa ge Clerk of the ViIIage of Buffalo
Grove is hereby directed to cause to be filed in the office of
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, a copy of this Ordinance
with an accurate map of the territory amexed.
SECTION 3s llhis Ordinance shal1 be in ful1 force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by
law.
