AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
WHEREAS, a Petition signed by all of the property
owners and electors of a certain parcel of land has been presented
to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo
Grove, and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Village,
is not in any other city, village or incorporated town, and
WHEREAS, upon due consideration it is considered
to the best interest of the Village to annex said land.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. The following described parcel of land, being
the subject of the petition to annex which
said petition has been signed by all of the
owners and electors of said land and complies
with the provisions of the Statutes of the
State of Illinois, is hereby annexed to the
Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook County, Illinois:
That part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian in the Town of Wheeling
described as follows: Commencing at a point
in the middle of McHenry Road 175 feet South
at an angle of 340 30' East of the intersec-
tion of the North line of Section 4, described
hereinafter as the center line ,of McHenry Road,
running thence South at 340 30. East along
center line of McHenry Road, 405 feet, thence
North at an angle of 550 30 ' East 426 feet,
thence north at an angle of 240 07 ' West
88 feet thence North at an angle 850 48 '
West 241 feet thence North at an angle 380
40' West 65 feet, thence South at an angle
790 00' West 272 Feet to the point of begin-
ning, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 2. A plat of said land is attached to this ordi-
nance and made a part thereof.
SECTION 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith file a certified copy
of this ordinance in the Office of the County
Recorder of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.

oath depose and state that they constitute all the owners of record of
and all the electors residing on the hereinafter described property:
