AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS VILLAGE
PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home-Rule unit pursuant to the Illinois
Constitution of 1970; and
WHEREAS, the personal property is part of the Village's Fixed Asset Inventory Control
System and procedurally must be deleted through Ordinance adopted by the Corporate Authorities;
and
WHEREAS, the property described will be disposed of through trade-in, sale or outright
disposal,whatever appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, that:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to our Horne Rule powers, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Buffalo Grove find that the listed items of personal property now owned by the Village of
Buffalo Grove are no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Buffalo Grove and the best
interests of the Village will be served by disposal.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval. This ordinance shall not be codified.
