1978-0341920276 ORDINANCE NO. 78-34 AN ORDINANCE eNmExzmG coRzxzm TooRzzouz TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, zLLzmozo (Hbudecomo-Koch Pronectv) WHEREAS, a written petition signed by the owners of record of all of the land in the territory hereinafter described, requesting the annexation of such territory to the Village of Buffalo Grove, has been filed with the village clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove; and WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Buffalo Grove; and WHEREAS, such territory has no electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, notice of the proposed annexation of such territory has been given to the Long Grove Rural rice Protection District, the Vernon Township Highway Commission, the Vernon zovosbiQ Board of Auditors, and the Indian Trails public Library District, as provided by law, a copy of which Notice has been recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the village of Buffalo Grove that such territory be annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1. That the territory described as: PARCEL B: Record Owner: WHEELING TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK, as Trustee under Trust No. 75-245 (and LEROY H. HARMS and RICHARD W. GLAUNER, as Beneficiaries of said Trust) Legal Description: Lot 14, (except the Easterly 20 feet thereof, measured at right angles to the Easterly line of said Lot 14), in Buffalo Grove Manor, a Subdivision of part of the South half of Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof, recorded June 21, 1950, as Document #701006, in Book 32 of Plats, page 28, in Lake County, Illinois. PARCEL C-1: Record Owner: CECILIA KOCH Legal Description: That part of the South 613.02 feet of the South half of Section 3, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, which lies East of the East line of McHenry Road, North of the North line of Lake Cook Road, and West of the West line of Weiland Road, as said roads are described in Deed Document No. 1658962, excepting therefrom that part thereof lying East of the West line of Lot 14 projected Southerly to the North line of Lake Cook Road, in Buffalo Grove Manor, a Subdivision of part of the South half of Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof, recorded June 21, 1950 as Document 1#701006, in Book 32 of Plats, page 28, in Lake County, Illinois. PARCEL C-2: Record Owner: CECILIA KOCH Legal Description: That part of the South 613.02 feet of the South half of Section 3, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, which lies East of the East line of McHenry Road, North of the North line of Lake Cook Road, and West of the West line of Weiland Road, as said roads are described in Deed Document No. 1658962, excepting therefrom that part thereof lying West of the West line of Lot 14 projected Southerly to the North line of Lake Cook Road, in Buffalo Grove Manor, a Subdivision of part of the South half of Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the -2- 1020276 be and it is hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove. A true and correct map of said territory is attached hereto and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove is hereby directed to cause to be filed in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, a copy of this Ordinance with an accurate map of the territory annexed. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
