AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
(Buffalo Grove Commerce Center)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue
of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois,
held a public hearing and recommended the approval of a rezoning from the R-5
one family dwelling district to the I industrial district for the property
hereafter described; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Buffalo Grove have considered said I industrial zoning and have determined
that the approval of said zoning is in the 'beat interests of the Village of
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS.
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Buffalo Grove is hereby amended by rezoning the following described real
property from the R-5 one family dwelling district to the I industrial district:
OUTLOT "A" IN CANDLEMOOD CREEK EAST SUBDIVISION BEING A SUB-
DIVISION OF PART OF THE WEST HALF OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 43
NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN RECORDED
AS DOCUMENT NO, 1999055 IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS OR MORE PAR-
TICULARLY, DESCRIBED AS BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
SAID CANDLEWOOD CREEK FAST SUBDIVISION: THENCE NORTH 1'17'00"
EAST ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID CANDLEWOOD CREEK SUBDIVISION,
A DISTANCE OF 33.78 FEET TO A POINT OF CURVATURE: THENCE SOUTH-
EASTERLY ALONG A CURVE CONCAVE TO THE SOUTH AND HAVING A RADIUS
OF 367.00 FEET, A DISTANCE OF 142.89 FEET TO A POINT OF REVERSE
CURVATURE, THENCE EASTERLY ALONG A CURVE CONCAVE TO THE NORTH
HAVING A RADIUS OF 433.00 FEET, A DISTANCE OF 814 FEET TO A
POINT ON THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID CANDLEWOOD CREEK EAST SUBDIV-
ISION: THENCE 14FSTERLY ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID CANDLE -
WOOD CREEK EAST SUBDIVISION A DISTANCE OF 146.91 FEET TO THE PLACE
OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval. This ordinance shall not be codified.
