08/05/1996 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES,
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, HELD IN THE
LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY, AUGUST 5, 1996
The Executive meeting convened at 9:40 P.M.
Those present were: Sidney Mathias, Village President; John Marienthal, Bill Reid, Brian Rubin, Jeffrey
Braiman, Chuck Hendricks, and DeAnn Glover, Village Trustees; William Balling, Village Manager; William
Raysa, Village Attorney; and Janet Sirabian, Village Clerk.
The reason for the Executive Meeting was to discuss Pending Litigation and Personnel..
• The first topic of discussion was Manchester Villas vs. Manchester Green Condominiums, Case No. 95
MR 322, with Mr. Raysa bringing the Board up to date on the proceedings in this case.
■ The second topic of discussion related to Personnel and compensation for elected officials.
There was discussion as to the financial compensation to be paid to elected officials. Pollings were taken,
and the following salaries were suggested to be paid to elected officials:
Village President - $7,800.00
Village Clerk - $6,000.00
Village Trustees - $4,200.00
The Executive Meeting terminated at 10:09 P.M., and the Board returned to the Regular Meeting.
