11/16/1998 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
HELD IN THE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 1998
The Executive Meeting convened at 10:25 P.M.
Those present were: President Mathias, Trustees John Marienthal, Brian Rubin, Jeff Braiman, De Ann
Glover, Village Trustees; William Balling, Village Manager; William Raysa, Village Attorney; William
Brimm, Finance Director- and Jane Olson, Deputy Village Clerk.

The reason for the Executive Meeting was to discuss Personnel and Litigation.
The first topic of discussion was Pending Litigation - the appeal of the Soccorso case-, Mr. Raysa
briefed the Board on the status of this case.
The second topic of discussion was Personnel - at the golf course. The Board discussed several
options.
The Executive Meeting terminated at 10:35 P.M. and the Board returned tote Regular Meeting.

On 4/17/00, it was moved by anent al, seconded by Braiman, to approve the above Executive
Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows:
AYES: 3 - Marienthal, Braiman, Glover ABSTAIN: 0 - one
NAYS: 0 - one ABSENT: 3 - Reid, Rubin, Hendricks
Motion declared carried.
On 4/17/00, it was moved by Marienthal, seconded by Braiman, to authorize release of the above
Executive Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows:
AYES: 3 - Marienthal, Brannan, Glover ABSTAIN: 0 - one
NAYS: 0 - one ABSENT: 3 - Reid, Rubin, Hendricks
Motion declared carried.
