01/18/1999 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
HELD IN THE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 1999
The Executive Meeting convened at 9:39 P.M
Those present were: Sidney Mathias, Village President-, John Marienthal, William Reid, Brian Rubin,
Jeff Braiman, Chuck Hendricks, and DeAnn Glover, Village Trustees; and William Balling, Village
Manager,
The reason for the Executive Meeting was to discuss Personnel,
• The topic of discussion was the evaluation and salary increase for William Balling, Village
Manager, The Board reviewed Mr. Balling's performance and salary increase.
The Executive Meeting terminated at 10:25 P.M. and the Board returned tote Regular Meeting,

On 4/5/99, it was moved by Glover, seconded by Reid, to approve the above Executive M fling e
minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows:
AYES: 6 - Marienthal, Reid, Rubin, Brannan, Hendricks, Glover
NAYS: 0 - one
Motion declared carried.
On 4/5/99, it was moved by Glover, seconded by Reid, to authorize release of the above Executive
Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows:
AYES: 6 - Marienthal, Reid, Rubin, Brannan, Hendricks, Glover
NAYS: 0 - one
Motion declared carried.
