01/25/1999 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
HELD IN THE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 1999
The Executive Meeting convened at 7:08 P.M.
Those present were: Sidney Mathias, Village President; John Marienthal, William Reid, Brian Rubin,
Jeff Braiman, Chuck Hendricks, and DeAnn Glover, Village Trustees; William Balling, Village
Manager; Willia rimm, Finance Director; William Raysa, Village Attorney; and Janet Sirabian,
Village Clerk; and Bob Biezak, Facilitator, PAR, Inc.
The reason forte Executive Meeting was to discuss Personnel.
■ The topic of discussion was the assessment of Boards and Commissions, and their structure and
operation,
The Executive Meeting terminated at 8:25 P.M. and the Board returned to the Regular Meeting.

On 4/5/99, it was moved by Glover, seconded by Reid, to approve the above Executive Meeting
minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows:
AYES: 6 - Marienthal, Reid, Rubin, Brannan, Hendricks, Glover
NAYS: 0 - one
Motion declared carried.
On 4/5/99, it was moved by Glover, seconded by Reid, to authorize release of the above Executive
Meeting minutes, Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows:
AYES: 6 - Marienthal, Reid, Rubin, Braiman, Hendricks, Glover
NAYS: 0 - one
Motion declared carried.
