01/03/2005 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS HELD IN THE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY, JANUARY 37 2005 The Executive Meeting convened at 7:55 P.M. This meeting was recorded via audio casette. Those present were: Elliott Hartstein, Village President; Jeff Brannan, Den n Glover, Jeff Berman, Chuck Johnson, Bruce Kahn and Steve Trilling, Village Trustees; William Balling Village Manager; William Raysa, Village Attorney; Dan Blondin, Assistant Village Attorney; Willia rimm, Assistant Village Manager-, and Janet Sirabian, Village Clerk. The reason forte Executive Meeting was to discuss Pending Litigation. The first topic of discussion related to Pending Litigation - Mr. Blondin brought the Board up to date Sharon Bennett v. Village of Buffalo Grove, 03 CH 1692 (19"' Judicial Circuit Court, Lake County). Mr. Blondin left at this time. • The second topic of discussion related to Pending Litigation - Mr. Blondin brought the Board up to date on the status of People ex rel. Wheeling Park District v. Village of Buffalo Grove - Case No 04 MR 972 and Wheeling Park District v, Village of Buffalo Grove - Case No 04 MR 1484, details of which are contained in his letter to Mr. Balling of November 30, 2004. Moved by Brannan, seconded by Kahn to return to open session. Upon voice vote, the motion was unanimously declared carried. The Executive Meeting terminated at 8:25 P.M. hn& Sirabian, Village Clerk On 8115/05, it was moved by Brannan, seconded by Glover, to approve the above Executive Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows: AYES: 5 - Braiman, Glover, Berman, Kahn, Trilling NAYS: 0 - None ABSENT: 1 - Johnson Motion declared carried. On 8115105, it was moved by Braiman, seconded by Glover, to authorize release of the above Executive Meeting minutes.
