07/18/2005 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS HELD IN THE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY, JULY 18, 2005 The Executive Meeting convened at 9:16 P.M. This meeting was recorded via audio casette. Those present were: Elliott Hartstein, Village President; Jeff Braiman, DeAnn Glover, Bruce Kahn, Steve Trilling and Brian Rubin, Village Trustees; William Balling Village Manager; Willia rimm, Assistant Village Manager; Ghida Neukirch, Assistant Village Manager; William Raysa, Village Attorney; Dan Blondin, Assistant Village Attorney; and Janet Sirabian, Village Clerk. The reason for the Executive Meeting was to discuss Pending Litigation and Probable Litigation. • The first topic of discussion related to Pending Litigation- Mr. Raysa and Mr. Blondin brought the Board up to date on the status of People ex rel. Wheeling Park District v. Village of Buffalo Grove - Case No 04 MR 972, and Wheeling Park District v. Village of Buffalo Grove- Case No 04 MR 1484. Mr. Blondin left at this time. • The second topic of discussion related to Probable Litigation- Mr. Raysa brought the Board up to date on probable or imminent litigation pursuant to Section 3 of the Lincolnshire/Buffalo Grove Boundary and Planning Agreement for the property conurronly referred to as the Peerless Property. Moved by Brannan, seconded by Kahn, to return to open session. Upon voice vote, the motion was unanimously declared carried. The Executive Meeting terminated at 10:10 P.M. [a let Siraftian, Village Clerk On 8/15/05, it was moved by Brannan, seconded by Glover, to approve the above Executive Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows: AYES: 5 - Braiman, Glover, Kahn, Trilling, Rubin DAYS: 0 - None ABSTAIN: I - Berman Motion declared carried. On 8/15/05, it was moved by Braiman, seconded by Glover, to authorize release of the above Executive Meeting minutes.
