04/06/2009 MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,ILLINOIS HELD IN THE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM ON MONDAY,APRIL 6,2009 The Executive Meeting convened at 9:32 P.M. This Meeting is recorded via audio cassette. Those present were: Elliott Hartstcin,Village President;Jeff Braiman,DeAnn Glover', Jeff Berman, Bruce Kahn, Steve Trilling, and Brian Rubin,Village Trustees;William Brimm,Village Manager; William Raysa,Village Attorney; Andy Hubbartt,Assistant Village Attorney; Janet Sirabian,Village Clerk. The reason for the Executive Session was to discuss Pending Litigation and Approval of Closed Session Minutes. • The first topic of discussion related to Pending Litigation: Mr.Raysa and Mr.Hubbartt reviewed the status of Village of Wheeling v.Village of Buffalo Grove, Case No. 2007 L 013895 (Cook County)—Bike Path Litigation. • The second topic of discussion related to Approval of Executive Session Minutes. The following minutes were approved and released: October 20, 2008 January 5,2009 Minutes from the following Executive Meetings were also approved,but it was determined that the need for confidentiality still exists to all or part of same: August 4,2008 September 8, 2008 December 15, 2008 January 19, 2009 February 2,2009 February 23,2009 Moved by Kahn, seconded by Berman,to return to open session. Upon voice vote, the motion was unanimously declared carried, The Executive Meeting terminated at 9:46 P.M. K� l. Sirabian,Village Clerk On 10/5/09, it was moved by Braiman, seconded by Berman, to approve the above Executive Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows: AYES: 4 - Braiman, Glover, Berman, Trilling NAYS: 0 - None ABSTAIN: 2 -Stone, Sussman Motion declared carried. On 10/5109, it was moved by Brannan, seconded by Berman, to authorize release of the the above Executive Meeting minutes. Upon roll call, Trustees voted as follows: AYES: 4 - Branham Glover, Berman, Trilling NAYS: 0 - None ABSTAIN: 2 -Stone, Sussman Motion declared carried.
