AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5.32, TOBACCO
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home -Rule Unit pursuant to the
Illinois Constitution of 1970; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, the following:
Section 1. Section 5.32.050, License Term, of the Village of Buffalo Grove
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Section 5.32.050 License Term. Every tobacco dealer's license shall be
issued for a annual period, or portion thereof, with effective dates of
May 1st to April 30th of the following calendar year.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication. This may be published in pamphlet
form.
AYES: 5 - Marienthal, Reid, Braiman, Hendricks, Glover
NAYES: 0 - None
ABSENT: 1 - Rubin
