1996-0251/5/96 o • ORDINANCE NO. 96 - 25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3.36, NON - RESIDENT AMBULANCE FEE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of 1970. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: Section 1. Section 3.36.030 of the Village of Buffalo Grove Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 3.36.030 Fee Established. A. If a non - resident requires an ambulance of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department to transport them to an emergency care facility due to an automobile accident, a fee of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) shall be due and owing to the Village of Buffalo Grove upon receipt of a bill issued by the Director of Finance of the Village of Buffalo Grove. B. If a non - resident requires an ambulance of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department to transport them to an emergency care facility due to an injury or illness incurred at any location other than a residence, a fee of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) shall be due and owing to the Village of Buffalo Grove upon receipt of a bill issued by the Director of Finance of the Village of Buffalo Grove. C. The non - resident ambulance transportation fee shall not apply to: 1. a non - resident who incurs an injury or illness within a dwelling unit in the Village of Buffalo Grove. 2. Village employees and their families. 0 .% o 3. Non - resident students attending schools in Buffalo Grove requiring transportation from schools or school related activities, including bus transportation. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication. This ordinance may be published in pamphlet form.
